The Lenape Nation of Pennsylvania is a cultural heritage organization of individuals who identify as descendants of the Lenape people, also known as Lenni-Lenape or Delaware people1. The Lenape people are the original inhabitants of eastern Pennsylvania, southern New York, New Jersey, and northern Delaware2. They have been the caretakers of these lands and of The River of Human Beings, more commonly known as the Delaware River, for over 10,000 years
